Thought I was buggin’ when I saw: “Kanye West performs tracks from upcoming album Good Ass Job at the Facebook Headquarters in Paolo Alto.” in my Safari feeder – but I wasnt. I know i’m supposed to be trying not to inadvertantly post entire albums in pieces before they drop, but this just needs to be seen.
This is the making of a masterpiece, so we broke out the chains and told em ‘Masta, peace’”
Second single from Wale off his upcoming mixtape dropping in two days. There’s not too much I don’t like about this. Folarin goes in, especially the last verse. The lil George Costanza sample in the middle was dope too. Gotta feeling this is gonna be a pretty decent mixtape. Drops in two days. Word to the Soup Nazi!

Finding a truly spectacular holiday home to buy or rent can be an impossibly difficult, time-consuming task.
This absolutely terrifying notion -_- led some journalists to create a type of dream getaway real estate site that’s pretty fuckin amazing.
Enter: The Modern House , a U.K.-based real estate site dedicated to design, decor and distinguished homes.
Created in 2004 by architectural journalists Albert Hill and Mike Gibberd, the site aims to create a haven for people looking to invest in homes that stand out for their beauty, style, functionality and enviable landscapes all over the world.
Prices range from as little as £365 a week to £3,000,000 a week
One of the more intriguing options was this house in the south of France [for a very reasonable price] designed by architects Vicky Thornton and Jeff Smith of the MELCO company.
[MELCO] has made the most of wonderful views by designing the house with extensive glazing and three outdoor terrace areas. Their sensitive design, built using the best local materials, ensures that the house sits comfortably within its rural surroundings. Read more about the house here.
This could be a nice post-graduation present. Not tryna do Miami, LA. Find me in Petit B, Tarn-et-Garonne, France.
Au revoir, bitches.

Okay, it’s not all that exciting when a cartoon (especially a Nickelodeon one) becomes a full length movie. You’re left with a lengthier episode. But the latest Nick toon to get the movie treatment will be The Fairly Odd Parents. The cool thing is that it will be a live-action film featuring Drake Bell as Timmy Turner (yes, a grown early 20′s Timmy). The film will be called “The Fairly Odd Parents: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!” and will follow the grown Timmy as he tries to hold onto his fairy godparents for as long as possible. Sounds interesting, eh?

The film is set to premiere (on Nick) early next year.
Had I seen this image of R&B crooners Usher and Chris Brown (pictured recently in Jamaica) a few years ago, I’d look at it in a completely different way. It would have almost been symbolic of Usher passing the torch or just even giving blessing to Chris’s rise to being in the likes of R&B royalty. But, after a few years and an infamous slap to face, It reads a little different–maybe still symbolic. With Chris’s recent Michael Jackson tribute, it seem that his career was subtly kicked back into motion as the industry seemed to finally move on and forgive him. Yet I still wonder, does Chris deserve a crown at the top of R&B or will others like Trey Songz rightfully snatch his chance at the thrown?
Dakota Fanning is the epitome of young talented acting. She’s sickening and you all know it.
Her career started nearly a decade ago yet she’s only turned 16.
Dakota covers the Canadian fashion magazine Flare. Wait, she’s only 16?
#Prediction: Give her five to ten more years and we could have our next Meryl Streep.
I’m rooting for Teairra Mari. Ever since she was played by Jay-Z and Rihanna, I’ve wanted her to get the shine she deserves and the less talented stole. Her severely delayed sophomore effort is being revamped. Her latest single to leak is another urban club banger, which she has become great at delivering. This one is called “Coins” and confidently boast about–what else, materialism. It low-key goes in, so I hope it does something for Teairra’s project.

Big fan of Nipsey. Huge fan of Cali music [The Chronic stays on repeat] and he’s about as Cali as it gets right now. One of XXL Freshman 10 hottest new MC’s, Hussle’s gearing up for his debut album and is kicking things off with the track “Feelin’ Myself” featuring Lloyd [which is heat]. Below is some preview footage of the video being shot in the area where he grew up in South Central Los Angeles.
Nipsey’s first album South Central State of Mind will be releasing later this year. Take a listen and download the Feelin Myself single below.

Since I’ve been missing my Fashion Week rundowns as of late, I’ll try to return to normalcy by sprinkling in a few of my favorite collections from the recent Paris [and Milan] spring 2011 shows.
First up: Junya Watanabe
Watanabe’s always been one of my favorite designers to look at as far as practical implementation. What I’m taking away from this collection definitely has to be the cropped blazer look with a more loose-fitting bottom. I like the contrast, and since I really don’t dabble in the whole skinny jean thing, this is something I can really get into.
My only suggestion is he get rid of these toad face-ass models.
AR!
If you’re serious.
Really about it.
Speaking on the change isn’t even necessary.
Careers replace hobbies, airports become the new driveway, and idols start evolving into friends– raise your hand if your contact list is becoming more.. valuable daily.
But put the blackberry away in class– pay attention.
We have moves to make. Not quite free agents– we faster .We haven’t built pyramids, but damn it we’re on the way.
So it only makes sense we’d arrive in style.

This might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but here is the video for Robyn‘s first single “Hang With Me” from the second installment of her three part album release Body Talk Part. The album (Part 2) releases on my birthday (September 6) and will be quickly be followed by part 3.
Simple. I like it.
The Saint48 x PRPLMNT Wood Bezel G-Shock Watch
The latest collab between Saint48 and PRPLMNT brings wood out of the forest and onto your wrist. Already the emerging accessory of choice after the GoodWood onslaught, The SxP Wood Bezel Woodshock watch is sure to be a head turner.
The watch, 100% hand and laser crafted (fancy) has a chunky appearance similar to the G Shock DW6600. The watch comes equipped with an auto-calendar, backlight, alarm multi-function, stopwatch and a countdown timer.

Aumtum 2010 provides us with a new spin on the classic Levi jacket. A lot lighter than the previous, commonly-known version and completed with a super distressed “heavy weight denim jacket in a vintage ‘Graniteville’ finish’ with an added dose of denim colouration and exposed rivets—-[[gasps for air ]]—, the 1936 Type 1 jacket is nice!
You’ll also find the sleeves worn and a cinch on the back for added detail.
At $277 its a little more than what I’d think about paying for a denim jacket. But then again I have a feeling if you get this, you’ll be set for a looong time. Quality.
Hopefully this makes this Sunday a great one for a lot of you MESH people out there. Lauryn hinted that she could be releasing some new material earlier this year. Of course we all hoped, but no one in the blogosphere got too excited because we all know Lauryn is… well, Lauryn.
But, out of no where, HHnM popped a new joint from our favorite Mis-educated miss today, and it has people wondering.. The track is a nice. Classic L-Boogie; very smooth. Hopefully this means what we hope it does..

I’ll be the first to tell you: I’m not cool.
Nope.
I have a lil blog, done a few things on campus, copped a few items the average guy might not have, but nah— cool isn’t me. Cool is who I associate with, cool is who surrounds me. Cool are my mentors: Danyel Smith, Coltrane Curtis. Cool are the ones that I look at to help get myself to where I want to be.
I work with Epiphany, and Epiphany works with influencer’s — the cool people.
Kanye, Dee&Ricky, Mariel Haenn, Chris Julian. Some of the names you know, some you don’t. But that’s the thing about cool. They don’t care what you think. They dont need your approval, they do what they want, how they want, and in the end they reap the benefits — while you watch .
Now pay attention.
Recognize: A young, cool Coltrane Curtis
Understand: It’s organic. Various advertisements featuring a young, cool Coltrane Curtis.
When 34-year-old entrepreneur Coltrane Curtis enters the room, people think, “he’s cool.” This isn’t an assumption. When Curtis showed up for the in-studio interview at the News Corp building in New York City last week, the make-up artist whispered (without knowing what he was being interviewed about): “Wow, he is so cool.” Read the rest of the FOX Business article here .

The same colossal ball of baritone who not too long ago seemed exiled to the most doomed of rap’s realms – that of lost credibility – has proven that good music does in fact trump all.
With his fourth album, Teflon Don, Ross has created a poignant eleven-track escapade doused as much in bombastic beats and bravado as it is in thought provoking, focused storytelling.
Enlisting a slew of heavy-hitting guest appearances (Jay Z, Kanye West, T.I, and Erykah Badu are just some of music’s elite featured), Grammy-worthy production from producers The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, No I.D., Lex Lugar, and the Olympicks (to name a few) Ross has served a magnum opus, worthy of the hype.
Teflon Don, no doubt a reference to Robert’s ability to dodge credibility issues (Ross entered shaky ground when two years ago, despite his insistance on his drug-trafficking past, a Smoking Gun photo showed him in a Miami-Dade county correctional officer’s uniform).
The real treasure of Teflon Don is its cohesiveness. The features, though aplenty are expertly placed and Ross holds his own with the game’s best. On what is probably the best song on the album, Ross stands fearlessly toe-to-toe with Hov on Free Mason. Another gem, the Bobby Seale introduced Tears of Joy, sees Ross poignantly telling of the dual side of fame and it’s trappings (I wanna walk in the image of Christ/but damn that bitch Vivica nice) as Cee-Lo croons a painfully palpable “I ask when someone wants to be me, why?/ My God, I’m scarred…”
Live Fast and Die Young with West drips of a self-destructive braggadocio that brings out the best in both artists, creating a rarity –a hip hop song that not only tells a story, but is sure to set the dancefloor ablaze.
The album then takes a change of pace with the airy No. 1, a jam though well intentioned, is an ultimate train wreck. Ross loses the depth of the album’s first half and dabbles in the forgettable. That is until the two biggest songs of the summer, MC Hammer and B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast). Despite a ridiculous Gucci Mane verse, the songs that have sparked more ad libs (I think I’m Big Meech! Larry Hoover!) than any other in recent memory, are unforgettable and necessary.
Chrisette Michele provides the album’s biggest surprise as she enchants on the smooth Aston Martin Music with new rap superstar Drake. It is however, the album’s last great song as All the Money In The World, with Raphael Saadiq is another well-intentioned song lacking little punch.
Since his 2006 Port of Miami debut, Rick Ross has continuously improved as an MC. He’s constantly getting better, and he knows it. He’s the man of the hour, and he knows it. He speaks, and we listen intently; and he knows it. Teflon Don is a exceedlingly solid album signaling Ross’ ascension to rap’s big leagues. Is it this year’s best? Not quite. Most intriguing? Most definitely.
Yesterday Fat Sax dropped by Hip Hop Nation in NY, and dropped a lil shumn shumn over “Renegade.”
Not the best at first but it get’s better. Just figured this was a good post for those who, you know, courtesy of lying rappers forgotten what an actual freestyle [insert: off the top] sounds like. No blackberry’s here. #noshadeDrizzy lol.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at Drake‘s “Fancy” video where the rapper sort of admits his past videos have sucked big time.
No surprise that I have a slight obsession with certain female artists and actresses. They have been featured on MESH. multiple times for their beauty and well, their….beauty. I have a hard time with change–so why do it? Here is the stunning, dark chocolate sex pot herself–Kelly Rowland.
#Stunning
If that doesn’t do something to you (ladies included), you’re vision is f@!k’d up.
Kelly’s album (which is waiting to be titled) drops in September.
