Remember my slight rant about the quality of music videos after Mario’s “Ooh Baby” clip? Well it seems like someone was listening.

Below is the video for Usher‘s newest single from his upcoming Raymond vs. Raymond release “Hey Daddy.” The clip is cool, fun, and the choreography matches the energy of the song. It’s great to see effort put into music videos. (I also enjoyed Mariah’s video a few posts below).

Christian Schoeler is a German artist who has recently teamed together with Louis Vuitton to produce a series of hand-painted leather bags. Last January MESH. was birthed from the minds of Aisha Johnson, Aaron Randle, & CJ Trahan II.

Last January the world was introduced to music, edge, style, and a bit of heaven.

Last January the MESHlife was created.

Last January it all began.

MESH. is excited to be celebrating our first birthday this month. Though we don’t have a particular date, January 2009 is a special month for the blog. It took the coincidental merge of three driven young individuals (the PNCs) to form the force that is MESH. The blog has quickly grown into a well-known entity in the blogosphere and is continuing to grow past all expectations. With the latest music, fashion, and lifestyle posts, MESH. has garnered the respect of many businesses and fellow lifestyle blogs. 2009 was an unforgettable year for the blog and it survived many struggles. But it’s a new year, and a new day and the MESH. PNCs are ready (along with you) to take the MESHlife to a new plateau of success. Today must be the day of beautiful women. Covering February’s issue of Allure Magazine is Sasha Fierce herself, Beyoncé Knowles. Although according to Beyoncé she really doesn’t need Ms. Fierce anymore.

The thing that’s interesting is I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown, and I’m now able to merge the two. I want people to see me. I want people to see who I am.”

Beyoncé will be performing along side her husband as well as Rihanna, Coldplay, Bono and others in the Hope for Haiti Now benefit concert airing airing Friday (1/22) at 8pm EST.

We all know the magnitude of the events currently happening in Haiti. It’s like a horrible flashback to 2004′s Tsunami or 2005′s Hurricane Katrina (which effected me personally). The sad reality of the matter is that the state of Haiti is ravaged by not only the natural disaster but also by previous decades of poverty. UNDRCRWN has made a T-Shirt to benefit the relief efforts. The shirts only cost $20.00 and all proceeds go to Wyclef’s organization YELE Haiti. With everyone receiving refund checks and such, I think it would be cool to spend just $20 bucks helping someone else in need. I most likely will be purchasing one myself.

They really know how to grow up don’t they?

The Rudy’s and Ashley’s of our favorite sitcom’s of the 80′s and 90′s really do know how to go from adorable character to sexy adult right before our eyes. Tatyana Ali is mostly known for her role as Ashley Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air but is returning back to television in Martin Lawrence’s new comedy sitcom Love That Girl (airing now on TV ONE). I don’t know about the show, but I can say that Tatyana does a great job at being sexy on the cover of MAMI Magazine. Peep the images below.

Mario‘s DNA album is noting amazing. It doesn’t come close to his brilliant 2007 album Go. Few tracks from the disc are memorable and as a whole it is uninspiring. So for the video for one of the few good tracks on it to be uninspiring and blah is upsetting. “Ooh Baby” is a great tune, but the video does little to nothing for me. It tries to be raunchy but falls flat. Check it out.

Music videos are my thing. It’s what I want to do for at least 5 years of my life. Artists, I beg of you, stop wasting time and money on uninspiring, pointless or tacky videos. Music videos have the power of being groundbreaking and amazing feats of artistry. They can temporarily unite or excite a culture. If you aren’t going to come hard with each and every one of your videos, I’d rather there not be a video no matter how great the song is.

My roommate Tallas has a puppy named Burberry (He’s amazing). So I am mostly posting this because I have a thing for dogs and will be getting my own in 2 weeks (His name will be Bentley). I also have this thing for jeans. I think I am getting close to having over 30 pairs (Yea, I know) and my collection continues to grow. So the funky combination of denim and dogs below speaks to me.

Levi’s and Cram Jam Chest have come together to craft this interesting pooch. It’s a denim dog and I think it is pretty cool. Although not available for purchase in the United States, give the cool dog a view.

Wouldn’t exactly want to pet it though.
