Just one of the gems found in the video below from the Pitchfork Music Festival held in Chicago July 16-18th. Featuring a really fantastic lineup of over 30 performers (Sleigh Bells, Gibbs, BesteCoast, Raekwon, LCD Sound System, Robyn, Big Boi, etc) i’m sure the festival was pretty fuckin amazing; especially after watching this.

Below we have Gary Indiana MC Freddie Gibbs and LA indie-pop trio Best Coast sit down and chop it up over God’s great greenery . If singer Amerie being featured in a spread of The Green Magazine, Golf Beyond the Links isn’t the epitome of random, I’m not sure what is. I must admit though, she is beautiful holding that iron!

Help me out. Where does this combination make sense? Why is she looking like an equestrian in a golf magazine? Let’s do some math. Amerie (singer) + Equestrian clothes = Golf??  Although seemingly random, Amerie isn’t the only celebrity to have graced a spread for the magazine (other celebrities include Ne-Yo and Common). So apparently theres a homeless woman who “rescues” celebrities who are being bombarded by paparazzi in LA. She’s notorious for jumping infront of the cameras and warding off the stalkers. The people at Funny Or Die have created this feux-info-mmercial labeling her as the “Celebrity Protector“, and it’s pretty hilarious.
