Dakota Fanning is the epitome of young talented acting. She’s sickening and you all know it.
Her career started nearly a decade ago yet she’s only turned 16.
Dakota covers the Canadian fashion magazine Flare. Wait, she’s only 16?
#Prediction: Give her five to ten more years and we could have our next Meryl Streep.
I’ll admit it, I haven’t picked up a Complex since my subscription ended (plus GQ has slowly taken the lead of being my favorite publication). But the latest covers might get me to once again become familiar with the magazine I’ve loved for so many years. Plus its my birthday issue (come on September-hurry up).
T.I., B.O.B, and Lilo (Lindsey Lohan) cover the August/September issues of Complex Mag.
(Nah, just playing. I really don’t care)
In lieu of last night’s fuckery, and Queen Lebronda making it crystal clear that he’s not shit quite who we thought he was, I thought it’d be refreshing to give some props to someone who’s been all we expected her to be and more; and unlike Lebron ever will, has the greatest minds of her sport calling her the GOAT [Greatest of all Time].
It’s been a long road for 27-time [yes.. 27!] Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.
Having won her first grand slam at the age of 17 in 1999, last Saturday Williams showed she’s not anywhere near slowing down in winning her 4th Wimbledon crown and 13th overall singles Grand Slam. For those who aren’t familiar with tennis, the 4 biggest titles in the sport are the US Open, French Open, Australian Open, and Wimbledon together comprising the Grand Slams. [She's now won 5 of the last 8 ]
I could go on and on forever about Serena, how she’s probably the greatest competitor in any sport, any genre [I dare someone to argue me on this point], how they said she was flaming out 4 years ago and would never win again, on how they said she could never be #1 in the world again [she currently is], but I think tennis guru and Sports Illustrated sports writer Jon Wertheim summarizes it best:
Irreverent as it sounds if you matched tennis’s female legends head-to-head — all at their best, with identical equipment– Williams wouldn’t just beat the others; she would crush them. Graf’s scythelike slice backhand? Williams would bend her knees and tee off on it. Evert’s consistency? Serena would simply overpower Chrissie. Navratilova’s attacking game? Williams would whistle returns by the peerless serve-and-volleyer before she got to the net… [her] results don’t speak for themselves. They Scream.

The cover of July’s issue of Dazed & Confused is none other than M.I.A. who has been landing a lot magazine covers in anticipation for the release of her album /\/\ /\ Y /\ which drops in July. Check out this behind scene video of her shoot that was photographed by Rankin.
Check more out here at Dazed & Confused.
M.I.A. is the cover artist for the latest issue of Billboard Magazine in preparation for the release of her next album /\/\ /\ Y/\ or MAYA. In the interview she says a couple of interesting things.
When I was like, ‘I want Hype [Williams] to shoot the “XXXO” video,’ everybody was like, ‘No way—he’s a nightmare!’”
Haha (I don’t really like Hype Williams anymore…so this quote meant a lot).
I was happy being the retarded cousin of rap. Now I’m the retarded cousin of singing.”
Gotta love M.I.A.
I previewed her album and can’t wait until it’s released. It should blow minds away. It drops July 13th.
The man with the music plan covers the latest Honey Mag.
Terius “The-Dream” Nash–super producer and songwriter–is gearing up for the release of his third studio album Love King due June 29th. He claims this to be his best album, a daring claim as his debut Love/Hate and its follow up Love vs. Money are two R&B gems. In the issue he talks about a couple of things including his marriage to Christina Milian his plan to retire after this album.

Cj..I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a Glee fan. The hit show is wildly entertaining and hilarious. Plus, hearing a bunch of suburban kids sing “Gold Digger” or “Single Ladies” is always interesting. The show is gearing up for it’s second season in April and the cast covers the latest Rolling Stone Magazine.
Cj..Seriously, this chick could just model if she wanted. [She bad].
