Today must be the day of beautiful women. Covering February’s issue of Allure Magazine is Sasha Fierce herself, Beyoncé Knowles. Although according to Beyoncé she really doesn’t need Ms. Fierce anymore.
The thing that’s interesting is I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown, and I’m now able to merge the two. I want people to see me. I want people to see who I am.”
Beyoncé will be performing along side her husband as well as Rihanna, Coldplay, Bono and others in the Hope for Haiti Now benefit concert airing airing Friday (1/22) at 8pm EST.
R&B ‘it-boy’ of the moment Trey Songz covers the January issue of Honey Magazine. In his interview (that is no where near as raunchy/sexual as his last) he talks about how he’s grown, twitter, and competition in the male R&B game.

Chris Brown and Drake featured on the VIBE Magazine dual covers for the December 2009 Relaunch Issue
Pick up VIBE at newsstands starting December 8th.

Lady Gaga for the January 2010 Cover of Elle Magazine.
“My album covers aren’t sexual… an issue at my label… The last thing a young woman needs is another picture of a sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease, touching herself.”
Go, Gaga.

Wale covers the latest issue of Honey magazine, and discusses his album release, love life and career.
“This is my biography,” Wale says of Attention: Deficit, which leaked a couple of weeks before it’s official date. “It’s honest. Raw emotion. It’s close to me. That’s why part of me will be a little offended if it doesn’t get heard. I don’t want people to take lack of sales as me taking a hit. This is something different. My label is letting me put out an album with a single that released seven months ago. We’re not going for first week sales. We’re only shipping out 30,000 of them. We’re going for that grind. We’re showing people that you can build a fanbase the old fashioned way.” - Read the full interview [here]

Recognize: Pics from recent photo shoots of both Chris Brown and Drake for the December 2009 cover of VIBE Magazine. The comeback issue will hit stands on December 8th with dual releases: one cover featuring Brown, the other Drake.
Understand: Not really liking the subject matter. I really don’t bang with Space Jam Chris like I used to after all this. It’s not so much that he mollywhopped the girl, we all have low points we’re ashamed of [albeit this is extremely low], I just can’t get with how Chris always seems to portray this “I’m really the victim, woe is me, I’m not really that upset or apologetic” attitude.
Chris could care less, and that annoys the hell out of me. Not to mention the fact that all the attention will surely be on him, resulting in what’s sure to be a HUGE overlook of Drake.
They couldn’t give Drizzy his own cover instead of going halvsies with Ike Turner 2009? Atleast he deserves it. Smh.
But hey, this is a business, and in the end it’s all about money; and with Chris on the cover of a comeback issue, sales are sure to go through the roof. For that reason alone you have to give kudos to my former workplace for coming back with a revamped site [check out www.vibe.com], new EIC [Congrats Jermaine Hall], and a buzzworthy cover. It was rough to see VIBE go; now let’s celebrate their renaissance.

Ryan Leslie for Essence Magazine.
Have you copped Transition? If not, you’re slacking.

Who’d you think it would be? Sarah Palin?
Get it Mitch. [yea that's what I'm calling her from now on]

GQ Italy is celebrating their tenth anniversary with ten covers of their October issue. Here’s a peek at some of them.

Dope.

L’UOMO VOGUE recently named Kobe Bryant as one of their contemporary icons.
Do you agree?

Kid Cudi covers the latest issue of LUSSW Magazine.
I’m not a Cudi fan, but these are pretty dope.

Serena Williams and Dwight Howard cover the upcoming issue of ESPN magazine, naked.
