I’ll admit it, I haven’t picked up a Complex since my subscription ended (plus GQ has slowly taken the lead of being my favorite publication). But the latest covers might get me to once again become familiar with the magazine I’ve loved for so many years. Plus its my birthday issue (come on September-hurry up).
T.I., B.O.B, and Lilo (Lindsey Lohan) cover the August/September issues of Complex Mag.
Nah it ain’t wednesday, but I figure why not hit ym peoples up with just a few tracks to tide them over until I get to that Teflon Don Review.. [shoutout to Howard U and all it's A-Bldg fuckery for pushing me waaay off schedule]
But I digress.
We got a lil bit of everything here; some club hits, good hip hop, and some in-between. Per usual, I don’t post what I dont think you won’t like. So go ahead and give all these tracks a spin.

Paris Morton Music
You know Drizzy always making sappy songs to hoes he wanna fuckbe with. Hey, long as it keeps him baggin the bad ones, and as long as they sound as dope as this… I ain’t gotta problem with it. Heat.
Yung Joc – Yea Boy
This is just for you to add to your pregame mix. Club hit.. not much else.
Cali Swag District f. JD, Bow Wow, B.O.B., Red Cafe – Teach Me How To Dougie Remix
Anyone else think it’s crazy that CSD made this remix, invited the whole world, but skipped Texas artists all together? Texas or not, this shit goes. Gone head and sway..
Jizzle – Jeezy f. Lil Jon
Mr. Stamp-in-the-middle describes this joint as “who dat” on steroids. I describe it as classic jeezy. 103!
P.S.A. (Pussy So Amazing) – Freddie Gibbs
One of the two songs you probably didn’t already have or haven’t yet heard. Gibbs is one of XXL’s Freshman 10 Hot New Artists. The Gary, Indiana native is skrate hood and keeps it gutta right here with an ode to that sweet ushy-gushy. Eat it up.
Kingpen Slim f. Wale, STS, Phil Adé
Let me find out the urrrea ready to take it past Wale. Nah, jk. Heat’s been coming out of my stomping grounds (yea thats right I can claim it now damnit–3 years in!!). Phil Adé goes off and Wale’s just a big ball of mambo-sauce-filled awesomenes. Beat ya feet and download.
Here’s the video for B.o.B’s latest single “Bet I Bust” featuring T.I. and Playboy Tre. It’s a cool little video. I’m still highly disappointed in his album The Adventures of Bobby Ray. It didn’t do it for me. I feel like the entire album was a failed attempt to recreate “Nothing On You” and that’s not the B.o.B I like. Oh wells….were you feeling B.o.B’s debut?
I am really anticipating what B.o.B‘s album The Adventures of Bobby Ray is going to shape up to be. Here is another leak from the disc and it features Lupe Fiasco. I like the vibe of the track. Its one that once again shows off the originality of B.o.B. Once you get into his style of hip hop–I think you’re stuck. Lupe’s verse is my favorite, anyways, check it out.
A track with Tevin Campbell, Usher and Robin Thicke? Yes, it is true. Produced by Quincy Jones, the track samples “Secret Garden” by Barry White, El Debarge, Al B. Sure, and James Ingram. You can definitely feel the throwback vibe of the vocals go in.
The strength of R&B girl group RichGirl is their strong vocals. This leak “Millionaire” is a simple track that shows off those abilities. I’m interested to see if the group will ever release their debut album. It seems that they have been recording it for two years.
It’s a Dream track. If you don’t like it immediately, you’ll learn to love it. It’s nearly always the case. So, try to resist with this one featuring rapper T.I.
I know I’m very late, but this past year I’ve really started listening to more material from B.o.B, and I can honestly say he’s making his way to be one of my favorites and definitely a must watch for artists on the come up. He’s been extremely consistent with putting out hit tracks. I’m excited for his upcoming debut album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which drops on April 27th.
Here’s a new track off his album “Airplanes” features Hayley Williams of the band Paramore. You checkin for B.o.B?
