Earlier we posted (here) about an art gallery located in the U St. corridor of Washington, D.C.  We mentioned that we would feature another gallery in the same area and here it is. Hamiltonian Gallery.

The gallery features rising artists who have competed to obtain a fellowship with respected artist. Their work is featured in the gallery for a period of time until the next rising artist wins the next fellowship. Featured below is the work of Linda Hesh and James Rieck.

The gallery currently features new artist.

The historic U St. corridor of Washington, D.C. is home to several restaurants, clubs, stores, and art galleries. MESH recently went to two galleries and encourages everyone to check them out.

First is Dekka. It’s an art gallery where local artists can submit their works and participate in art shows. The gallery also is a clothing/jewelry boutique for both women and men. The atmosphere of Dekka is really laid back and art appreciators should definitely check it out.
