Chris Brown and Drake featured on the VIBE Magazine dual covers for the December 2009 Relaunch Issue
Pick up VIBE at newsstands starting December 8th.

Recognize: Pics from recent photo shoots of both Chris Brown and Drake for the December 2009 cover of VIBE Magazine. The comeback issue will hit stands on December 8th with dual releases: one cover featuring Brown, the other Drake.
Understand: Not really liking the subject matter. I really don’t bang with Space Jam Chris like I used to after all this. It’s not so much that he mollywhopped the girl, we all have low points we’re ashamed of [albeit this is extremely low], I just can’t get with how Chris always seems to portray this “I’m really the victim, woe is me, I’m not really that upset or apologetic” attitude.
Chris could care less, and that annoys the hell out of me. Not to mention the fact that all the attention will surely be on him, resulting in what’s sure to be a HUGE overlook of Drake.
They couldn’t give Drizzy his own cover instead of going halvsies with Ike Turner 2009? Atleast he deserves it. Smh.
But hey, this is a business, and in the end it’s all about money; and with Chris on the cover of a comeback issue, sales are sure to go through the roof. For that reason alone you have to give kudos to my former workplace for coming back with a revamped site [check out www.vibe.com], new EIC [Congrats Jermaine Hall], and a buzzworthy cover. It was rough to see VIBE go; now let’s celebrate their renaissance.
Some of you think she tries too hard. She’s not organic. She fabricates this image.
No one is that... Weird
Well, I don’t know if I can agree with that.
With every interview, Gaga seems to be about as #realasitgets.
But what do I know…?
I’m Gone.

I’m not getting over this easy. Final Meal- I gotta take this slow and savor every moment, no matter how difficult it is- things can only get better after this right?… or worse; depending on what you’ve done leading up to this moment.
People ask… “why did VIBE go out like that?… You had to have seen it coming?”
Does this answer your question?
Things were on the come -up. VIBE had just shot two of the most talked about men [not named Michael Jackson] for the cover– we won’t even get to the story that was being crafted by legendary reporter Keith Murphy.
Hell no we didn’t see this coming. We were too busy putting together hot shit like this. But alas, you learn, and you move—can’t even say that. Let’s just say you learn. I’m just mad you all couldn’t have seen the wonders we had planned for this next issue. Smh.

We all know that beloved Hip Hop magazine Vibe folded this week but it’s creator isn’t letting it die easily. Quincy Jones (the founder of the popular magazine) is trying to buy his magazine back. Quincy said he envisioned an online-only future for Vibe, EbonyJet.com reported.
I hope what can be done for the magazine is being exercised. I love Vibe.com so if the only available option for Vibe to survive is the online route, I’m all for it. The age of print magazines is slowly dying. It’s all about fast and immediate access (which why online magazines and blogs are so successful). I can’t help but wonder if Vibe were to go online would it be a subscription based online magazine.

VIBE wins.
